Immediate Loading Dental Implants

The Sargon Immediate Load Implant System, developed in 1990, provides a solution to the biggest problem of past dental implant procedures. Prior to the development of the Sargon Immediate Load Implant System, dental implants were placed and left to heal for 6-12 months before any teeth were loaded.Today, most dental companies offer solutions that enables dentists to immediately load dental implants, improving the patient’s post-treatment healing process and quality of life.

Immediate loading dental implants don’t just save patients’ time, they also save money by reducing the number of visits a patient must make to see their dental professional following the procedure. The procedure also helps patients resume normal activities and regain their confidence faster. Because delayed tooth placement can lead to loss of gum tissue, the Sargon Immediate Load Implant System provides the additional benefits of improving long-term gum health. Since the gum lines are less likely to recede following this procedure, the dental implants have a more natural and attractive appearance.

This treatment causes very little discomfort; in fact, most patients report not feeling any pain during the procedure at all. Patients may also resume normal use of their teeth immediately following the procedure.

The Sargon Immediate Load Implant System can only be performed on patients who are currently free of gum disease. It also requires the bones surrounding the implant to be fully in tact. If the patient does not meet these requirements, they may require a more traditional implant procedure or extensive pre-operative treatment. For patients who do qualify, however, the immediate load implant system is a great option.
