Care Quality Commission
All dental practices in the UK need to be registered with the Care Quality Commission. This applies to both NHS and Private dentistry clinics. The Brighton Implant Clinic and its group of practices is registered with the Care Quality Commission since October 2011. Our clinic in Hove has been visited by the Care Quality Commission in 2011. All of the Brighton Implant Clinic branches are fully compliant with disabled access surgeries and bathrooms. We have appointed 2 full time staff members to deal with compliance with the CQC and Health and Safety regulations. The CQC ensures that all patients receive medical or dental treatment which is of a high standard and safely provided. All of our dentists are GDC registered and are covered by professional indemnity insurance. In addition every single staff member is CRB checked and have no previous criminal offences.
Dental Implant Surgery
Our operating theatres were specifically designed for dental implant treatments. We are able to record dental implant surgery onto high resolution DVD for patients or teaching programs. We train and teach other dentists who wish to learn from our highly experienced clinicians in dental implants and cosmetic dentistry. Our practices also comply with the latest HTM 0105 guidelines with dedicated central sterilisation rooms which also record and capture all data for sterilisation cycles. All sterilisation procedures are monitored 24/7 by CCTV. This ensures the highest possible standard in sterilisation which is essential in dental implant surgery.
Dental Implant Systems
The dental implant systems which we use are FDA approved and CE marked. The dental implant systems have been in dental use for many years and are backed by extensive long term scientific studies. All dental implants, dental materials, sterilisation equipment and laboratory prosthetics are compliant with the General Dental Council Guidelines. All of the dental implants we place are recorded on a national database of dental implants hosted by The Association of Dental Implantology.
